FRIEDHARD KIEKEBEN is an artist, academic, teacher, researcher and consultant. He is the creator of NontoxicPrint.com.
He studied printmaking in Germany and at the Royal College of Art in London. After fifteen years working as an artist and lecturing at art schools in the UK, he relocated to the USA. His artworks take form as digital wall drawings, etched and printed metal friezes and sculpture, and sequences of original prints. His projects often include site specific installations, such as the Two Pillars in downtown Chicago, and are exhibited internationally in galleries, museums and public spaces. Friedhard is available to deliver workshops and lectures or to offer consultation on the subject of nontoxic printmaking and other art related subjects.
JENNIFER KIEKEBEN has worked as a museum curator and arts administrator for over twelve years. She is the website editor of NontoxicPrint.com.
She has an MA in the History of Art from St Andrews University, Scotland and a Masters qualification in Museum & Gallery Studies from the University of Manchester. In the UK she worked as the Touring Exhibitions Officer for Gracefield Arts Centre where she initiated the Innovative Intaglio International Summer Schools program in collaboration with Friedhard Kiekeben and Keith Howard.
She is currently the Gallery Coordinator for the Robert F DeCaprio Gallery at Moraine Valley College in Illinois.
